Organization
In 2013 Otto Beisheim bequeathed his assets to two independent foundations of the same name in Munich (DE) and Baar (CH).
The Beisheim Capital GmbH manages the assets of the German foundation together with Beisheim Management GmbH, both based in Düsseldorf. The organizational structure provides for a clear separation of the charitable activities at the level of the Prof. Otto Beisheim Foundation and Beisheim Assets gGmbH from the asset management activities at the level of Beisheim Capital GmbH/ Beisheim Management GmbH and the investment companies.
The Beisheim Foundation established an investment committee that assists the Beisheim Capital in defining and reviewing its investment strategy and in making investment decisions.
