Beisheim Holding

Toni Calabretti has been managing director of Beisheim Holding GmbH in Baar since 2003. 

He studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen, specialising in marketing and sales. From 1987 to 1990, he worked as a research assistant at the University of St. Gallen and earned his doctorate in corporate finance. In 1990, he joined the Beisheim Group and held various management positions, including CEO of Experian Holding GmbH in Hamburg and Managing Director of METRO Vermögensverwaltung GmbH & Co. KG in Düsseldorf. 

In 2000, he took on management roles in the establishment of Prof. Otto Beisheim's family office and returned to Baar. From 2007 to 2023, Toni Calabretti was a member of the board of the Beisheim Foundation in Munich. In addition to his role at Beisheim Holding GmbH, Toni Calabretti is President of the Board of Trustees of the Prof. Otto Beisheim Foundation, Switzerland (Baar). From 2013 to 2025, he served as chairman of the WHU Foundation, which supports the Scientific University of Business Administration in Vallendar near Koblenz. Since 2026, following the handover of the chairmanship to Dr. Dr. Christoph Glaser, he has been a member of the Executive Board.
